Out of Milk is a shopping, pantry, and to-do list app for Android devices. You can create multiple shopping lists, manage what’s in your pantry, and keep track of other lists as well. This can be done from your device or from the web and then it syncs automatically to the other location.

I personally found this app useful as we were planning a family vacation. I was able to create a shopping list separate from my normal grocery list for items we needed just for the trip. Then we created a to-do list for all of the attractions we wanted to be sure to see each day. I also love being able to sit at my computer and create a shopping list that syncs automatically to my husband’s phone as he’s out at the store.

My favorite features:

  • Barcode scanning for shopping and pantry items
  • Easily move items from one list to another
  • Keep track of items you’ve added before and their prices
  • See a running total of the total cost of your shopping items
  • A beautiful interface on both the mobile and web versions
