Welcome to my new and improved site. Frequent redesigns aren’t always a good idea, but being a designer, and a self learner, I can’t help myself. When I look at the last design that I launched about a year ago, I see my knowledge and skill level from about a year ago. This overhaul reflects today’s standards and handles the content much more efficiently. Here are a few of the new key features:
- sIFR is so last quarter, @font-face is in!
- It is now easier for me to add a new portfolio entry, so I can keep it more up to date.
- I am now featuring a Speaking & Events page where you can see where I’ll be next, and what I’ve blogged about these events.
- I have completely revamped the Client Questionnaire into a more exhaustive Request a Quote form.
- See my availability at a glance with the “Vacancy” ribbon in the top right corner of most pages, the popup bubble gives further details.
- Every page has some kind of jQuery extra, so be sure to explore the whole site, if you’re interested in those design flares.
I’ll be writing more tutorials, some of which will go beyond just WordPress tips and techniques, including a series that will look close up to the use of jQuery on this site.
